Terms of Service

Effective 15 June 2026 · Last updated 15 June 2026 · Techsider Pty Ltd (ABN 12 636 205 868), trading as Snapceipt ("we", "us", "our")

These terms are a contract between you and Techsider Pty Ltd for your use of the Snapceipt app and website. By creating an account or using Snapceipt you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Snapceipt.

Who can use Snapceipt

You must be at least 16 years old and able to enter a binding contract. Snapceipt is built for Australian sole traders and households managing their own receipts, expenses and GST. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account.

Your account

You sign in with Sign in with Apple or a magic-link email. You agree to give accurate information and to keep it current. You may delete your account at any time from Account → Delete Account in the app; deletion is immediate and irreversible.

Subscriptions & billing

Snapceipt has a free tier and a paid Pro subscription. All paid subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple through your App Store account, not by us. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse Snapceipt. In particular, you won't: break the law or infringe others' rights; attempt to access accounts or data that aren't yours; probe, scan or interfere with the service or its security; reverse engineer or resell the service; or upload content you don't have the right to upload.

Your content

Your receipts, records and other content remain yours. You grant us only the limited licence needed to host, process and sync your content so the app works for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. We don't use the content of your receipts to train AI models.

Snapceipt is a tool, not tax advice

Snapceipt helps you capture and organise receipts and estimate GST and BAS figures. It is not accounting, tax or legal advice, and it doesn't replace your accountant or the ATO. You're responsible for the accuracy of your records and your tax lodgements. Always check figures before you rely on them.

Availability & changes

We work to keep Snapceipt running but we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may add, change or remove features, and we may update these terms. If we make material changes we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.

Disclaimers & liability

To the extent permitted by law, Snapceipt is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where our liability can be limited, it is limited to re-supplying the service or paying the cost of re-supply. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss.

Suspension & termination

You can stop using Snapceipt and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or use the service unlawfully. On termination, the sections that by their nature should survive (content licence, disclaimers, liability and governing law) continue to apply.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales and the Commonwealth of Australia, and you submit to the courts of that jurisdiction.
